SYNOPSIS
Mitfahrgelegenheit, which in German stands for Riding along Opportunity, is the animated story of a fictitious trip, through the setting of North Rhine-Westphalia. Playing in between animation and video footage, this ride along journey is considered to be more ‘a sketch of a film idea’ than a film itself. It was created during the Transfer, The International Art and Artist Exchange Program between Turkey and North Rhine-Westphalia and was exhibited in Museum Bochum and Santralistanbul.
ARTIST’S BIOGRAPHY
Aksel Zeydan Göz was born in Tokat, Turkey in 1977. He studied sculpture at Mimar Sinan Universty of Fine Arts in Istanbul Turkey and graduated in 2002. He completed his MA degree on Visual Communication Design at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2005. Currently he lives in Istanbul. His work is included in the exhibition " Status Imprecise" at Siemens Sanat in Istanbul in 2008 and in Transfer in Bochum, Munster, Aachen in Germany and at Santralistanbul in Turkey.
